Pacquiao's molding mentor: 'Vargas is in for an unpleasant night'

Beside age, Manny Pacquiao's quality and molding mentor Justin Fortune can't see whatever other preferred standpoint that Jessie Vargas could have over the Filipino ring symbol.

Keeping in mind he saluted Vargas for being a best on the planet, he said that Pacquiao is basically the greatly improved competitor between the two boxers.

"Tune in, it's Jessie Vargas, he's a world champ so he's a decent contender, however he's not on the same level as Manny. It's only a straightforward truth that Pacquiao is speedier and absurdly more grounded than Jessie. I mean there's no chance to get around it," Fortune tells GMA News Online.

"He could do whatever he needs to do yet he would never coordinate the pace and force of Pacquiao. It truly gets down to total essentials, and that is the nuts and bolts of it."

Pacquiao, 37, is entrusted to duke it out with the 27-year-old Vargas for the WBO World Welterweight title on November 5 (November 6 PHL time) at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. That night, as per Fortune, would not end well for the more youthful pugilist.

"He has the age advantage, so what? He doesn't have the experience, doesn't have the influence and he doesn't have the pace," said Fortune.

"For those three, I'll surrender age anytime. No offense to Jessie, however you're not on the same level. It will be an unpleasant night for Jessie Vargas."
