Durant stars as Warriors defeat Clippers in pre-season

Kevin Durant scored 21 focuses on his home presentation as the Golden State Warriors wrecked the Los Angeles Clippers 120-75 in a pre-season diversion.

Durant, who joined the officially effective Warriors from the Oklahoma City Thunder in July, made a trio of three pointers in an uneven experience.

Klay Thompson top scored for the Warriors with 30 focuses while reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry contributed with 14 focuses at the Oracle Arena.

The Warriors opened up a 20-point lead in the principal quarter and never thought back.

Their lead had extended to 102-51 by the begin of the final quarter, a foreboding cautioning to whatever is left of the group as the new season lingers nearer.

Warriors mentor Steve Kerr gave over 20 minutes of amusement time each to Curry, Durant, Draymond Green and Thompson before resting the top pick quartet.

Thompson achieved his 30-point pull with just 14 shots yet the greatest thunder of the night was held for Durant, who opened the scoring right off the bat with a three-pointer before later leaving the diversion to an overwhelming applause.
